When Derek was killed by V, his wife, Rosemary Almond, asked for support despite hating him. When V breaks into Jordan Tower, the headquarters of Mouth, to broadcast a speech that calls on the people to resist the government, Dascombe is used as V's unwilling body double when the fingermen arrive and kill him.
